Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Badrama Technologies LTD (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use the TrustScore service — available on the web at trustscorehq.com and as the TrustScore Android app on Google Play.
TrustScore is a portable trust-broker service for Africa’s informal lending economy. It helps individuals carry a verifiable trust score across lenders, and helps lenders look up that score with the borrower’s consent.
What we collect
- Account identifiers — email address you sign up with, and a one-way SHA-256 hash of your phone number. We do not store the raw phone number.
- Score data — the trust-score components computed for your account, derived from network signals (with your consent) and from lender attestations.
- Consent records — an audit log of who has requested your score and which requests you approved or declined.
- Device & usage data — standard diagnostic information (app version, OS version, crash logs) used to keep the service running.
What we do not collect
- We do not collect contacts, photos, microphone audio, precise location, SMS content, or call logs.
- We do not sell or share your data with third-party advertisers or data brokers.
How we use your information
- To compute and display your TrustScore.
- To authenticate you when you sign in, and to authorise lenders to view scores you have explicitly consented to share.
- To detect abuse and protect the service.
- To comply with legal obligations applicable to financial-services data in the jurisdictions we operate in.
How we share your information
We share your score with a specific lender only when you explicitly approve that lender’s consent request. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
Limited operational data may be processed by infrastructure providers (hosting, error monitoring) acting on our behalf and bound by contract to protect it.
How we store and secure your information
- Authentication tokens on the Android app are stored in
EncryptedSharedPreferencesbacked by the Android Keystore. - Server-side data is encrypted at rest and transmitted over TLS.
- We retain your account data while your account is active, and for a limited period afterwards as required by law or for fraud-prevention purposes.
Your rights
You may, at any time:
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct or delete that data — see Delete your account.
- Withdraw consent for any lender to access your score.
- Close your account, which removes your score profile from the service.

TrustScore is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
