Delete your TrustScore account
You can ask us to delete your TrustScore account and the personal data associated with it at any time. We process every request manually so a human reviews what is being removed.
How to request deletion
Send an email from the address associated with your TrustScore account to delete@trustscorehq.com with:
- Subject:
Delete my TrustScore account - Body: the email address (and phone number, if you have one) you used to sign up, plus a one-line confirmation that you want your account deleted.
What gets deleted
- Your account record (email and hashed phone number).
- Your computed TrustScore and its components.
- Your consent history — the audit log of which lenders you approved or declined.
- Any session tokens issued to your devices.
What we keep, and for how long
We keep a minimal anonymised record of the deletion request itself (timestamp, hashed email) for up to 90 days so we can defend against duplicate or fraudulent re-requests, and to satisfy regulatory record-keeping obligations applicable to financial-services data. This record does not contain personally identifying information and cannot be used to reconstruct your account.
Backups roll over on a 30-day cycle; your data is removed from primary storage on processing and from backups within 30 days.
How quickly do you process requests?
We acknowledge every request within 3 business days and complete deletion within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email when deletion is complete.
Partial deletion
You can also ask us to keep your account but withdraw specific
consents (for example, revoking a lender’s access to your
score). Email us at the same address with the subject
Revoke consent for [lender name] and we will action
the revocation without deleting your account.
